The Kansas Highway Patrol has reported that one man, Timothy Connell, 50, Junction City, was injured and transported to Geary Community Hospital following a two-vehicle accident one mile east of Junction City.

KHP said Connell was a passenger in a Dodge Stratus driven by Christel A. Chaundoin-Connell, 48, Junction City. She was eastbound in the left lane, lost control of the vehicle, and it spun out and struck a GMC Yukon driven by Teresa Ellis, 47, Salina. Ellis was not injured. KHP reported that Chaundoin-Connell was possibly injured, but not transported.

All of those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
