Crews worked overnight to clear streets and roads in the Geary County area.

The general report from City and County spokesmen estimated the snowfall in the two inch range. Roads are snowpacked, but driveable with caution.

As of 6 a.m. no accidents had been reported.

A crew of four worked overnight for the County, and six personnel for the city. New personnel are being brought on this morning.

In the City the Public Works Director Ray Ibarra said their focus is on collector and arterial streets,but they will respond to emergencies in residential areas if they’re contact. Otherwise they do not plan to work in residential areas. The snowfall total is believed to be less than three inches.
