A “Carolfest” scheduled at 6:30 p.m. this evening in downtown Heritage Park has been cancelled due to extreme cold.  The event was sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

– Today’s Junction City Salvation Army Angel Tree/ “Christmas is for Kids” toy distribution will go an as scheduled from the 1st Southern Baptist Church, 1220 W. 8th Street, Junction City.  Families will receive gifts by appointment times already established.  Salvation Army volunteers will be on hand to handle the distributions.
