Blood Drive Has Two-Day Run in Junction City

The two-day American Red Cross Community Blood Drive resulted in the donation of 113 productive units.

Along with several first-time donors, one donor reached the one-gallon mark ( 8 units ), one donor reached the four-gallon mark, two reached eight gallons, one reached ten gallons, and one reached 14 gallons.

The December Blood Drive Coordinators Annette and Jim Ray have issued a thank you to those helped achieve the Blood Drive goal. They include Ladies Reading Club, Junction City Municipal Building, a local business that provided chili, Miguel, Darrius, and Dakota from New Directions, and volunteers Tom and Charlotte Grelk, Gary Hauptli, Susan Gratz, Peter Young, Judy Rosa, Sandy Wong, Bill and Carol Powers, Don Stevens, Webb and Marj Davis, Lisa Osburn, and Marilyn Van Buren.

The next blood drive will be February 13 and 14.
