Law enforcement authorities and emergency personnel worked a two-vehicle head-on collision on I-70 near Exit 300 east of Grandview Plaza Tuesday morning.

According to Grandview Plaza Police Chief Sean Peirano the two drivers, Elaine Rucker of Junction City, and Michelle Butler sustained minor injuries, but refused transport to a hospital.

Peirano confirmed Rucker was driving eastbound in the westbound lane of the interstate at the time of the accident, which occurred about 8:50 a.m.   Butler was traveling westbound.

Both lanes of the interstate had to be closed for a short time, and the westbound lane for a little longer period until about 9:30 a.m.
