One person was taken to Geary Community Hospital in Junction City following a two-vehicle accident Sunday on I-70 in Geary County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Keeghan Rayburn, 6, Ogden was taken to the hospital following the accident on the interstate one mile west of the I-70 – K-18 junction.  She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Brian Rayburn, 30, Ogden. Brian Rayburn and another passenger, Makenzie Rayburn, 4, Ogden, were not injured.

The driver of the other vehicle Luiza DeSouza, Deerfield Beach, Florida, was not injured.

KHP stated both vehicles were westbound on the interstate, when due to the icy roads, the Chrysler utility vehicle driven by DeSouza rear ended the Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brian Rayburn.
