The Kansas Highway Patrol has reported that a passenger GMC Envoy that lost control due to icy road conditions on Interstate 70 Sunday was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. 
KHP stated Charkeyta K. Farrar, 23, Fort Riley was taken to the hospital following the accident in Wabaunsee county eight-tenths of a mile west of Carlson Road in Maple Hill.
Four other people in the vehicle, including the driver Norman Farrar, 22, and three other passengers, two-year olds Kameira M. Farrar, Keyona M. Farrar, and Kenya M. Farrar all of Fort Riley were not injured.
KHP stated the GMC Envoy was westbound on the interstate, slowed for an accident ahead, lost control due to icy road conditions, slid down the right shoulder into the ditch, rolled, and came to rest on its wheels.
