The names of loved ones who have passed away were read during the Holiday Tree of Memories Thursday evening at Geary Community Hospital.

Geary Community Healthcare Foundation Executive Director Jolana Montgomery – Matney told the audience, “But we will remember those individuals who have been light, or provided light for us, light so special that even death cannot dim their memory nor diminish their impact on our lives.

The event is normally held in the Tribute Garden at Geary Community Hospital, but had to be moved indoors last night due to the bitter cold weather.

The Holiday Tree of Memories was jointly sponsored by the Healthcare Foundation and the Home Health & Hospice of Geary Community Hospital.
