During the day on Saturday, November 16, K-18 from Scenic Drive to K-133/Seth Child Road was fully opened to four lane traffic in Riley County.

Entrance and exit ramps for westbound K-18 to Miller Parkway will remain open. The entrance and exit ramps for eastbound K-18 to Davis Drive will remain closed until Davis Drive is completed, sometime in late November weather permitting.

Crews still have clean up and finishing work on the project that is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2014. This work will take place off the highway on the right of way and will have little to no traffic impacts.

KDOT and area officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, November 15th, for the K-18 project that converted K-18 from I-70 to K-133/Seth Child Road into a four lane freeway.
