UTEP ( 3-0 ) jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first half and went on to defeat Kansas State in women’s basketball 84-39 in El Paso on Saturday.

K-State started the game 0-of-7 from the field.

K-State redshirt freshman Kelly Thomson finished with 15 points while freshman Breanna Lewis had 12 rebounds and five rebounds.

The Wildcats ( 2-1 ) host Wichita State on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
