The Geary County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the arrest of Tyler Duke, Knoxville, Tn. on I-70 on suspicion of Acquisition of Drug Proceeds, and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The arrest occurred Thursday at a location about nine miles east of Junction City.

The Sheriff’s Department worked two single vehicle non-injury accidents involving deer.  One occurred on I-70 about three miles east of Junction City Thursday evening. Jason Britt, White City, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Damage was estimated under $500.

The second accident was reported just after four a.m. Friday on I-70 about two miles east of junction City. Johnathon Wagner of Salina was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt when he struck the deer causing more than $1,000 damage.
