The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, School Creek Off Road Vehicle Association, and RiderForum.NET have joined together in a cooperative effort across all off road motorcycle and ATV communities to make the School Creek trails at Milford Lake safer and more enjoyable.

The Corps of Engineers have issued a statement saying the School Creek ORV Park…Trail Maintenance Day, will be Saturday Nov. 23.

The objective is to clear the trails by trimming the foliage, vines, limbs back and the cedar tree branches back flush with the trunk. The cut branches will be thrown back off the trail, and deadfall blocking the trails will be removed.

You should arrive between nine and ten a.m. if you are participating.  Bring leather gloves, eye protection, and ear protection along with your saws and lopping shears. There will probably be people riding the trails so while you are working use caution.
