The Manhattan Indians scored on a two-point conversion in the fifth overtime to edge the Maize Eagles in the first round of the Class 6A postseason playoffs at Maize 60-59.

Manhattan had rallied from a 24-7 early fourth quarter deficit to tie the game and force overtime.

In the fifth overtime Maize scored to take a seven point lead. Then the Indians put a touchdown on the board, went for two, and scored.

Manhattan improved to 8-2, while Maize finished the season at 7-3.
