Junction City police handled two cases Friday night involving shots being fired. 

The first occurred in the area of Madison and 15th Streets where there were multiple reports of shots being fired…one single shot followed by three rapid shots.

In the second case in the 100 block of Grant Avenue there a single call of shots fired…one single shot followed by five successive shots.

The incidents were reported at 7:02 p.m. and 7:07 p.m.

In both cases officers responded to the area. No injuries and no damage were reported.
