Junction City police reported a fire call at 9:41 p.m. Friday at 2117 Sunflower Court.

Officers and firefighters responded to a report of a fire at a residence. The blaze, which the Junction City Fire Department confirmed involved a brush fire, was put out. No injuries or major damage were reported.

Police said the event was deemed a suspicious fire and is currently under investigation.
