Donald Ray Arveson, a resident of Chapman, KS, passed away at Chapman Valley Manor on Monday, November 4, 2013 at the age of 86. 

He is survived by three step-daughters: Vicky Krupke and her husband Kenny of Talmage, KS, Merle Jean Creach-Brown of Chapman, KS, Becky Dalyene Creach-Kelley and her husband Roger of rural Chapman, KS; Don’s four children: Leonard W. Arveson, Edward Ray Arveson, Lenora Ann Arveson, and Brenda Lou Arveson; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister Lenora Jackson of Johnstown, PA.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date with burial of the ashes at the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Solomon, KS.  The Londeen Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.  Memorials may be given to the Chapman American Legion Post #240.  Memorials may be sent in care of the Londeen Funeral Chapel, Box 429, Chapman, KS  67431.
