Thousands of patients have awakened from anesthesia to her voice, “It is so rewarding to awaken a patient to share the news that their surgery is over and to enjoy sharing a good report,” she said. “I also cherish the times when I have given comfort when there was not good news.”

“I am grateful for all the wonderful and supportive experiences and life-long friendships I have had at Geary Community Hospital,” She said. She plans to continue working for the hospital as time allows.

A reception will be held on her last day, November 5th, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Thomas B. Fegan Dining room.
