Junction City police reported that just before 8 p.m. Saturday an officer responded to 14th and Calhoun to reports of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. A victim was taken to the hospital via ambulance.  More details have not been released at this point.

In a separate report the Police Deparment said officers responded to 2504 Deerfield Blvd. at 3:20 a.m. Sunday to  reports of a hit and run accident. That incident is still under investigation.
