State Representative Allan Rothlisberg of Grandview Plaza underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.

His wife, Sandy Rothlisberg, confirmed Wednesday night the state representative was in stable condition in the critical care unit at St. Francis.

The surgery was recently scheduled after a visit with a specialist.

Sandy Rothlisberg estimated the recovery time at about six weeks.

Allan Rothlisberg represents the 65th District in the Kansas House. That district includes part of Junction City and Geary County, including Grandview Plaza.  Rothlisberg is in his first term in
