There has been a personnel change at the Geary County Sheriff’s Department.

KJCK News has learned that longtime Geary County Sheriff’s Department employee, Sergeant Anthony Ricks, has been released from his job.

We contacted the sheriff, Tony Wolf, who would only confirm that Ricks is no longer with the Sheriff’s Department. He had no other statement.

On a separate note, in addition to his service with the Sheriff’s Department, Ricks ran unsuccessfully for sheriff on the Democratic ticket in the November 2012 general election.
