The Junction City Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Saturday morning at approximately 10 a.m. at the Check N Go business on West 6th Street in Junction City.

According to Lt. Jeff Childs with the JCPD the subject entered the business,”made contact with one of the clerks, demanded money and showed a gun. Money was then turned over to the subject and he departed without further incident.”

The amount of cash that was turned over is not being released at this time. The incident remains under investigation

A photograph of the suspect was able to be obtained from the video security system. The JCPD is requesting assistance in identifying the subject shown in the photo.
