The convention center in Junction City will be the site of an Economic Access and Opportunity Summit Thursday.

The conference is designed to provide those in attendance with information to increase minority and women owned business owner participation in procurement processes, forecast relevant areas of sectorial growth, gain access to organizational decision makers, and improve social capital through networking events.

Governor Sam Brownback will speak at noon during the Summit. He will talk about opportunities for minority and women business owners in growing the Kansas economy.
