WASHINGTON (AP) – Federal workers considered nonessential will have about four hours to get their offices in order today, and then they’ll have to go home. That’s because Democrats and Republicans in Congress couldn’t agree on an emergency spending bill before last night’s midnight deadline. Majority Leader Harry Reid says when the Senate convenes this morning it’ll once again reject a stop gap measure that includes a House Republican effort to change the health care law.
