A Shawnee, Kansas woman was transported to Geary Community Hospital on Tuesday following a one vehicle accident on I-70 11 miles east of Junction City.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Lisa A. Francis, 41,  of Shawnee was taken to the hospital for treatment of a possible injury. Her Toyota automobile was westbound on the interstate, when it left the highway, entered the north ditch, and struck an embankment.

KHP reported Francis was wearing a seat belt.
