The Junction City Police Department found a deceased 24 year old man Sunday morning in Junction City. 

According to Police Chief Tim Brown, Junction City Police responded to 1614 Bel Air Drive, in Junction City at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, in response to a check welfare on an individual,” Upon arrival we found a gentleman deceased. The individual was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The name of the individual is not being released at this time. Brown reported that they are currently waiting on the results of an autopsy and that there does not appear to be any foul play at this time.

The matter is currently under investigation.
