The Geary County Health Department has geared up for the flu season. The Health Department kicked off their flu shot clinic for the season on Monday. The clinic will remain open during normal walk-in hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Health Department building at 1212 West Ash Street in Junction City as long as supplies last.

The flu shots are $30. Kan Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicare are all accepted. For people 65 and older, high dose vaccine is recommended and will be available.
