Geary USD 475 and Junction City High School will host the annual Tribute to the troops night at the Junction City VS Seaman football game Friday night at Al Simpler Stadium.

One Hundred complimentary game tickets will be available through the JCHS Athletic Office and the Junction City Military Affairs Council, located in the Junction City Chamber of Commerce office, for active duty soldiers and military family members. Special recognition activities will be held beginning at 6:40 p.m. as part of the pregame activities the 97th MP Battalion will kick-off the game by leading the Blue Jay football team onto the field.

Special half time presentations will be given by the JCHS Marching Band and the 97th MP Battalion. Soldiers from the 97th will also be doing a push up for every point scored by the Blue Jays.

The game will be broadcast on KJCK 1420 AM, The talk of JC, with pregame starting at 6:40 p.m. Dewey Terrill has the play-by-play along side Brian Field with color commentary.
