The arrest of a 32-year old Grandview Plaza woman on more than 100 criminal counts has been reported by law enforcement authorities.

The Junction City Police Department and Geary County Jail Booking Photo reports Tuesday included the arrest of Melissa Culler, also known as Melissa Butler, 32, Grandview Plaza, on more than 100 counts ranging from 27 counts of suspicion of forgery, identity theft, and making a false information / writing to 23 allegatons of theft.

Junction City Police Chief Tim Brown confirmed it’s his understanding it is an alleged internal theft. “It occurred at the CD Tradepost on East Chestnut. Officers responded down there yesterday about 1:20, took a report from management of the building, and based on their probable cause finding took Miss Butler into custody on those charges.”

Jason Peters, President of CD Tradepost told JCPost.com, ” No customer data was compromised or used in a way that would affect a customer outside of our stores. And there was absolutely no credit card data compromised.”

A check with the Geary County Attorney’s Office reveals September 24 status check and preliminary hearings have been scheduled for Culler  in the case in District Court.   A public defender was appointed to represent the defendant.
