The victim in a fatal early Saturday morning shooting in Junction City has been identified by police.

The JCPD reported the victim of the shooting that occurred at the intersection of 10th and Webster has been identified as Anthony Darnell Nixon, 37, of Junction City.

Police said their investigation is continuing. No arrests have been reported.

Police and Geary County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene of the shooting at 10th and Webster about 2:45 a.m. Saturday. Nixon was pronounced dead at the scene.
