A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Jordan Young, 26, Junction City, in Geary County District Court on November 7 and 8.
The former music minister for the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church in Junction City has been accused of sexually molesting boys in his church.
According to Assistant County Attorney Michelle Brown an October 29 status check hearing has also been set for Young in District Court.
Young was expected to enter into a plea agreement last week, but did not do that and fired his attorney. The court determined that a public defender would be appointed for him.
Young is charged in multiple cases of alleged child molestation. He is facing counts ranging from lewd and lascivious behavior to aggravated criminal sodomy. He has been incarcerated at the Geary County Detention Center since his arrest last August.
