The Junction City High School Athletic Department announced Monday that the Blue Jays will host the Hutchinson Salthawks Friday at Al Simpler Stadium in the first round of the 6A State football playoffs. 

The game will kick at 7 pm, gates open at 5 pm. Admission prices are $6 for adults and $5 for students K-12.

This is a KSHSAA sponsored event and league passes, USD 475 ID cards, golden age passes, student passes, etc. will not be honored by ticket takers or ticket sellers. A ticket must be purchased by everyone except for those people whose name(s) appear on the Pass Gate list furnished by each school’s Athletic Department.

The game will be broadcast on 1420 AM KJCK with Dewey Terrill and Brian Field. Pregame will begin at 6:40 pm on the “Talk of JC.”
