Showers Possible Tuesday

According to the National Weather Service of Topeka, scattered areas of drizzle and light showers are possible this afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures remain cool in the 50s to FileL (11)lower 60s. Rainfall tapers off this evening with sunny skies returning on Wednesday. While highs are similar in the upper 50s, northwest winds increase at 15 to 25 mph sustained during the morning and afternoon

Today: Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain showers. Highs in the upper 50s. East winds up to 5 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of rain showers. Lows in the mid 40s. North winds up to 5 mph shifting to the west with gusts to around 20 mph after midnight.

Wednesday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph.

Wednesday Night: Colder. Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. North winds up to 10 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 30s.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain showers. Highs around 60.

Friday Night: Rain showers likely. Lows in the mid 40s. Chance of showers 70 percent.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a 30 percent chance of rain showers. Highs in the lower 60s.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s.

Sunday: Sunny. Highs in the upper 60s.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 40s.

Monday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 70s
