The Geary County Rural Fire Department responded to the 2500 block of Crider Road Wednesday evening for a report of a grass fire. The site is about three miles west of Junction City.

Rural Fire Chief Garry Berges estimated the fire covered less than an acre. No one was injured. The cause is still undetermined.
