Weekend Weather Outlook

According to the National Weather Service of Topeka, it will be a chilly start to the day with morning temperatures in the mid 30s to low 40s, with some patchy frost possible near the KS/NEFileL (6) border. Expect abundant sunshine today and Saturday, but it will be cooler with highs only reaching into the 60s. Temperatures will trend upwards by Sunday with highs in the 70s. The next chance for rain will be mid-week next week when another cold front moves into the area.
Today: Cooler…sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.Tonight: Mostly clear in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. East winds around 5 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: Warmer…sunny. Highs in the upper 70s. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts to around 30 mph.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50s.

Monday: Breezy. Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy with slight chance of rain showers and isolated thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 50s.
