Quilt of Valor Presented

The Quilts of Valor presentations in Geary County continued on Tuesday.

A quilt was presented to Ray Thompson, president of the Disabled American Veterans in Junction City.

Donna Martinson is coordinating the program, which has resulted in numerous quilts being presented to veterans honoring them for their service in conflicts ranging from Vietnam to Korea and World War II.

This is one of the earlier quilts presented to a veteran during this project.
