Brock Barrett led the Wakefield Bombers cross country team at the Riley County Invitational.

Coach Ladd Braden reported that Barrett finished 15th in 18:34. Johnathan Bowen was 19th in 18:42.

Wakefield finished sixth out of 11 boys teams in the meet with a score of 152 points. Riley County had the winning low team score of 40 points.

In girls competition Wakefield did not have a full team, but Sierra Otto finished 72nd in 32;58.  Southeast of Saline won the girls team title with a score of 40 points.
