Scattered Showers Possible Through Friday

Over the next two days, a weak upper level disturbance will slowly drift southwest from east central NE across north central Kansas and into southwest KS. As the upper level disturbance passes FileL (5)southwest across north central Kansas, scattered showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm may develop Today through Friday.
The best rain chances through the period will be across north central Kansas. The rain chances will end Friday night with clearing skies. The weekend looks nice and warm with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower to mid 80s.
Today: Mostly cloudy with chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Highs around 80. South winds 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds up to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

Friday: Partly sunny. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Highs in the upper 70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 30 percent.

Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. East winds up to 10 mph.
