Blue Jays Roll Past Emporia

few twoSenior A-back Raye Wilson rushed for 213 yards and three touchdowns in a 51-14 Junction City Blue Jay victory over the Emporia Spartans.

Wilson rambled 62 yards for a first quarter touchdown to put the Blue Jays on top and then scored on touchdown runs of 22 yards in the first quarter and 70 yards in the third quarter.

Blue Jay quarterback Ryan Henington was 6-10 passing for 83 yards and two touchdowns.

Junction City led the game in Emporia 38-0 at halftime with the Spartans’ two touchdowns coming in the fourth quarter after the Blue Jays had widened the lead to 51-0.

The Blue Jays, 2-0, host Shawnee Heights next Friday while Emporia, 0-2,  plays at Topeka West.
