Junction City Middle School 7th Grade Volleyball

volleyball clip artTuesday evening the 2015 JCMS lady Wildcats made their debut on the volleyball court!

 

The Wildcats faced off against Concordia for their first match. Unfortunately, the “A” Team fell 12-25 and 10-25, while the “B” Team was defeated 9-25 and 23-25. Leading passers were Kyler Danielson and Amira Bivens. Megan Hunt shined with her 6 ace serves during the first game, and Taylor Strickland led the “B” Team.

 

The second match against Chapman proved to be a much better effort for both “A” & “B” Teams. The girls were able to walk away with a match win with scores of 21- 25, 25-14, and 15-10 on the “A” Team and 25-20 and 25-11  on the “B” Team. Leading passers were Dorian Robinson and Rileigh Vandenburg. Logan Brengle’s 6 aces played a part in the victory.

 

The Wildcats face off against Manhattan Eisenhower, Emporia, and Topeka-Seamen on Thursday at Manhattan Eisenhower.
