Rain in the Forecast

Expect clear skies tonight with lows reaching the 45 to 50 degree range. The weather turns stormy for Wednesday through Saturday night. Periods of heavy rain are expected Wednesday night into Thursday morning where some FileL (40)locations could pick up over an inch of rain. The rain will fall in a 12 hour period, so any flooding that might occur should be localized. There are also chances for thunderstorms Friday through Saturday night. Some of these storms could be severe Saturday and Saturday night.

Tonight: Showers and isolated thunderstorms. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Lows around 57. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 25 mph.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning…then slight chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs around 75. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy in the evening then becoming mostly cloudy. A 20 percent chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: Partly sunny with a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms. Highs around 80. South winds 10 to 20 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 60s.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with thunderstorms likely. Highs in the upper 70s. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. A 50 percent chance of thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 60s.
