The Geary County Convention and Visitors Bureau is still seeking volunteers for the Cabelas National Team Walleye Fishing Tournament coming to Milford Lake May 28th-30th.

Connie Hall, CVB Director explained she still needs to fill volunteer spots on the early morning shift’s for Thursday May 28th and Friday May 29th,”In the very early morning hours and that’s basically what I would call a ramp controller, just keeping the traffic flowing as the anglers launch their boat and that would be from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., that requirement.”

She is also seeking volunteers for the afternoon shift to be a “fish runner” on those days as well.

“This is the people that would carry the fish from the weight in site to the release boat, which isn’t that far but we need to have enough people there.”
