Three former Kansas State football players — B.J. Finney, Ryan Mueller, and Jake Waters–signed free agent deals with NFL teams following the 2015 NFL Draft. Finney signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mueller with the San Diego Chargers and Waters with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In addition to the three signed players, wide receiver Tyler Lockett was selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks, while Randall Evans was picked in the sixth round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Finney, who started a school record 52-straight games, is one of three players in school history

to earn all-conference designations all four years.
A two-year starting defensive end, Mueller was signed by the Chargers as both a linebacker and fullback.
Waters started all 26 games at quarterback over the past two seasons. He broke school career records for completion percentage ( 64.1 ), passing efficiency ( 155.6) and total offensive yards per game ( 260.2 ). He also set the K-State single-season record for passing yardage ( 3,501 ) and total offensive yards ( 3,985 ) in 2014.
