Blue Jay Tennis Captures First in a Salina Quadrangular

The Junction City Blue Jay tennis team has captured first place in a quadrangular in Salina that also featured teams from Salina Central, Maize South and Ellsworth.

The Blue Jays went undefeated in singles with Kyle Hand and Angeleau Scott both going 3-0 in blue jay logonumber one and two singles, respectively.

In the number one doubles bracket Neil Glaser and Dave Graham went 2-1 on the day, finishing second, while Grant Whaley and Korbin King rounded out play for the tennis team by going 1-2.

The Blue Jays will compete in the Centennial League Tournament in Topeka Monday, May 4.
