The Chase for a Cause Junction City 5k Walk / Run is  Saturday, May 2 at 9 a.m.

Those who register may have $20 from their registration contributed to a local cause of their choice. Some of those could range from Big Brothers / Big Sisters to United Way and Open Door. Others could Junction City Junior Baseball Association, Junction City Family YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Food Pantry, Friends of Animals, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

There will be cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers, and for first place male and female masters. The top three finishers in each age group receive medals.
