Dickinson County authorities executed a search warrant at 1408 Northwest 3rd Street in Abilene Thursday and seized 348 grams of marijuana plus several items of drug paraphernalia and $2,079 in alleged drug proceeds.

Sheriff Gareth Hoffman reported that agents of the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Department Drug Unit arrested Joshua Mychal Rangel, 23, Abilene. He was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute within 1,000 feet of a School, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Use of a Telecommunications Device, Receiving Drug Proceeds, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, and Aggravated Endangerment of a Child.

Hoffman said the case is ongoing, and more arrests are possible.
