The Junction City Blue Jays scored 102.5 points to finish fifth in the Class 6A State Wrestling Tournament Saturday in Park City.

For Junction City Jeryl Denton at 152 pounds and Jake Bazan at 145 pounds both finished second in their weight classes.

Aryus Jones captured third place at 160 pounds, Downey Wood fourth at 138, Gabe Padilla fifth at 126, and J’Quan Robinson sixth at 182 pounds.

Garden City won the 6A team championship with 183 points, followed by Olathe North with 174.5, Dodge City 136, Derby 121, and Junction City with 102.5 points. Manhattan was sixth with 100 points.
