The monthly personnel report at the USD 475 Board of Education meeting Monday included the retirement of longtime ESS teacher Margaret Kilpatrick of Junction City Middle School, Fort Riley Middle School principal Joe Handlos, and Nurse / Nurse Coordinator Jane Handlos.

The retirements for Kilpatrick and Jane Handlos become effective at the end of the current school year, and for Joe Handlos it is at the end of the 2014-15 contract.

The personnel report also included the resignation at the end of the 2014-15 contract for ESS Director Katina Brenn.
