The Geary County Sheriff’s Department reported four non-injury accidents over the weekend.
–Early Saturday evening at 5:37 p.m. Nicholas Griggs, McPherson, was westbound on I-70 when his vehicle struck a deer.
–Sunday morning at 7:12 a.m. Jacob Brull of Plainsville was westbound on the Interstate at Exit 313 when he lost control of his vehicle while exiting the highway and struck a sign.
–Deputies responded to K-177, mile post 94, Sunday at 4:11 p.m. for a single vehicle accident. Jacob Riggs of Emporia was northbound, lost control of his vehicle while passing another and slid off the roadway.
–Deputies responded to mile marker 14 on K-57 Sunday evening at 7:14 p.m. where Alejandro Ortiz of Emporia was traveling on K-57 when he lost control of a 1998 Ford Taurus and slid into a ditch.
Again…there were no injuries in any of the accidents.
