The Geary County Sheriff’s Department has reported that deputies observed a hit and run accident at 203 East 10th Street in Junction City about 7:45 Thursday night. Deputies stopped the suspect vehicle, a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, at 8th and Price. The driver, Quenton Rumbaugh, White City, was arrested on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

Deputies responded to the 11000 block of J-Hill Road for a one-vehicle accident. They arrested Jonathan M. Clark, Junction City, on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, Failure to Report a Traffic Accident, and Refusal to Take a Preliminary Breath Test. Clark had been driving his 2004 Chevrolet pickup south in the 11000 block of J-Hill Road.
