The Central Plains High School Oilers defeated the Junction City High School Blue Jays basketball team Thursday night in Dodge City during the first round game of the Tournament of Champions.  The Oilers improve to 9 wins and 1 loss on the season, the Blue Jays, 3-and-7.

Next for Junction City is a 2pm match-up against Bishop Carroll Friday afternoon in the consolation bracket of the Tournament of Champions in Dodge City, Kansas.
